On March 30th, 2023, in the middle of traffic on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida, God quietly began writing the most beautiful chapter of our love story!

At the time, Tyson was serving in the United States Navy, proudly dedicating his life to protecting the country we love. Savannah was finishing the final seasons of her college softball career at the University of North Florida, chasing the dreams she had worked so hard for. On that afternoon, Tyson was on his way to play slow-pitch softball in the beach league, and Savannah was heading to the Church of Eleven22 — two completely separate plans that somehow led them to the exact same moment.

With the warm Florida breeze coming through their car windows and traffic moving along the highway, their eyes met. Tyson will forever say that Savannah was “cat calling him,” while Savannah will insist that he was the one hollering and whistling first. Either way, something about that brief moment felt different.

Somewhere between laughter and the chaos of the highway, Tyson managed to catch Savannah’s name. It felt like such a small detail in such a fleeting moment, and Savannah never imagined that the man she met for just a few seconds across traffic would ever find her again. But later that evening, after Savannah walked out of church, she checked her phone and saw a message waiting for her on Instagram. It was from Tyson Post, and it read:

“No way I just met my wife on the highway.”

In that moment, what once seemed like a random encounter suddenly felt a lot like fate. From that very day forward, Tyson became Savannah’s biggest fan, her loudest cheerleader, her safe place, and her greatest blessing. And Tyson became Savannah's whole world— the one who made every day brighter, every laugh louder, and every dream feel even more possible.

Not long after, they met each other’s families, made their relationship official, and quickly realized something that neither of them could ignore: life simply felt better together. What started as a chance meeting in highway traffic turned into a love and a deep sense that they were exactly where they were meant to be. Since that beautiful day on Beach Boulevard, they have been inseparable, growing together, supporting each other through every season, and building a love that only continues to deepen with time.
